2nd paragraph

The policy name has been changed from "Wikipedia:User account policy" to "Wikipedia:Username policy". And where the text says "type WP:UN into the search box", it should say "type WP:U into the search box".

Last paragraph in the sidebar (workaround workshop)

Wikipedia software changed in April 2008; some wording needs to be adjusted. The last sentence in the paragraph should now read:

"But it may be worthwhile to monitor important images: If an editor changes an image by uploading a new one (page 271), which can be vandalism, the change will show up on your watchlist report if you've put the image page on your watchlist."

2nd paragraph

For gender consistency, since the first sentence says "her ways", the rest of the paragraph should be changed:

* Instead of "they did", say "she did"
* Instead of "his ways", say "her ways"

Also, in the third line of the paragraph, there is a typo: "aren't like to" should be "aren't likely to"

"Skin" section (bottom of page)

In both of the paragraphs, "seven" should be changed to "eight". Also, given that the first sentence of the second paragraph is totally redundant, please consider striking it entirely.

Figure 20-6 and the first full sentence below it

In figure 20-6, the wording should be "plus seven other choices", and the list of choices should read "... Cologne Blue, Modern, MySkin, ... "

The sentence that starts "Figure 20-6" should read "Figure 20-6 shows the eight different skins that you can choose from.

Figure 20-6 needs to be reshot.

Section titled "Help"

In the topic "help"

There are two entries for "Help: Contents page"; the second, which includes the shortcut "(WP:HELP)" is the correct one; it should be changed to end "419, 447" and the other entry (for page 419) should be deleted.

Printed Page 472
Left column, part of the "shortcuts" topic that begins on page 470

The entries "biographies of living people" and "requested articles" are already included in the topic, but in the correctly place (ordered by the shortcut, such as WP:RA, not by the name of the shortcut). These two entries are therefore both duplicates and in the wrong place.

By contrast, the entry "user scripts (WP:SCRIPTS) should be moved to a different place in the topic after it is reworded as "(WP:SCRIPTS) user scripts"
