Finding and Decoding Information in System Information
System Information displays a wealth of configuration information in a clear display, as shown in Figure D-4 on the next page. You can search for specific information, save information, view information about other computers, and even view a list of changes to your system.

To start System Information, use any of the following methods:
In the Run dialog box, type msinfo32.
In a Command Prompt window, type start msinfo32.
Click Start and choose All Programs, Accessories, System ...
