Chapter 10. Shares and Permissions
Anyone who has used a computer for any length of time is familiar with the concept of sharing. One shares photos and videos and writings with others. This isn’t necessarily done on a network—sharing is often done via e-mail or on a Web site.
On a business network, sharing is the key to getting work done. However, not everything needs to be shared with everyone, which is why the use of shares is always linked with the use of permissions.
