Biometric Indexing: State-of-the-Art
In this chapter, a survey of literature related to biometric indexing is reported. The chapter is organized as follows. Various iris data indexing techniques will be reviewed in Section 3.1. Section 3.2 will cover an in-depth discussion about the fingerprint biometric data indexing. Work related to face biometric data indexing will be presented in Section 3.3. Section 3.4 will review the work on multimodal biometric data indexing. Finally, the chapter will be summarized in Section 3.5.
