The idea of editing a book on trust building and boundary spanning originated at the AOM Annual Meeting in Philadelphia back in 2015 when David Varley, then the Senior Commissioning Editor in Business, Management, Accounting and Finance from Routledge, contacted me for a discussion of producing a book based on my recent work on the subjects. After the process of submitting my proposal through editorial reviews to the acceptance by Routledge, the book project commenced in earnest with an open Call for Chapters in October 2016.
