Chapter 4 outline.

Overlay: Projected demographic changes must be considered in planning. Demographic analysis has many dimensions and significant changes are driven by birth rates in countries and by immigration. Some awareness of population theories is useful to put current practices in perspective.

The scientific study of human populations is called demography. We are interested, in this first leg of the new triple constraints, in several aspects of demographic analysis as follows:
