A Final Word … (Are We Agile or Fragile?—the Final Play)
We mentioned earlier in the book, the adage “If you don’t go, you’ll never know!”
For some of us, practicing our face-to-face networking technique in a live environment may involve some anxiety, discomfort, and personal risk.
In a modern world where the word “agility” is used a lot, perhaps we need to ask ourselves “Are we agile, or fragile?”
But help is at hand from the “gratitude attitude”: Be a generous networker. Let’s consider other people at the event who may be feeling as anxious as we are. Let’s focus on what can be done to help them feel more comfortable. Again, this is a great tool for taking the pressure off us.
