THIS BOOK is an important personal milestone for both authors. We first met in 1994, when Chris was a student of VG’s. We developed a strong mutual respect. Our paths diverged after Chris graduated, but fate brought us back together in 2000. Bill Achtmeyer, a special friend of Tuck’s, generously provided the financial support needed to found the Center for Global Leadership. After being asked to direct the new research center, it did not take VG long to persuade Chris to join him.
