But first, may I please ask you to consider the last chart that was published in the 1998 edition in this chapter. It is the next chart in Figure 10.39 (August 1998). My suggested forecast for the DJIA using just the principles of R.N. Elliott is likely skipped over by readers today because they believe it to be the current chart for the DJIA.
