How to Get Funding for Your Business

I have never had a business loan or worked with an investor. Except when I entered the BiG Challenge competition at school and received a £25.00 loan. I repaid £30.00, including interest.

I have instead received a number of grants, which I didn’t have to pay back. I was also fortunate to be eligible for government support during the pandemic. Followed by two local authority grants, as part of its business support program. The first was for a new website, and the second was to increase my profile locally.

This funding has been an enormous help to me in getting started as an entrepreneur, for which I am very grateful.
