Introduction—Storytelling in Action for Ontological-Organizational Research Methods (O-ORM) for a 4th Wave Grounded Theory
We live in storytelling worlds with ‘mythical inspirations’ (Kostera, 2008; Adorisio & Boje, 2008), many different metaphysics (Deloria & Wildcat, 2001), and many ‘science fictions’ (Smith, Higgins, Parker, & Lightfoot, 2001) that inform the collective dynamics and processes of movements (Lang & Lang, 1961) and what I call, ‘storytelling organizations’ (Boje, 1991, 1995, 2008).
This is my sixth ‘organizational research methods’ (ORM) book (Figure 0.1). Each one has a different set of storytelling ORM, but all of them develop the antenarrative paradigm, its theory, methods, and praxis of change.
