In developing effective managerial skills to effect openness and interpersonal trust during the enforcement of change, a conceptual device established by Joseph Luft and Harry Ingham provides the basis for understanding the basic process involved.
As indicated in Fig. 11.8, the model consists of portraying the varying degrees of information held in common between two people, as well as the methods that can be utilised in increasing the size of one's “window.”
