Slipstreaming Service Packs
You can apply service packs directly to the Windows XP Professional source files to create an integrated installation. Because an integrated installation replaces individual files, the space requirements for this installation type are practically identical to the space requirements for the original Windows XP Professional source files. Also, you can usually continue to use your existing answer files and $OEM$ folders. You cannot remove a service pack that you installed together with Windows in an integrated installation.
