Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office 2003 Editions distribution points are the portals from which your deployment project leaves your capable hands and installs on client computers. They are also containers for all of your customizations, including answer files, scripts, and so on. This chapter describes how to build distribution points for both Windows XP Professional and Office 2003 Editions as the first step in the technical deployment process.
