Which View Should I Use?
Now that you’ve had a chance to digest SharePoint 2010 views, you might be wondering which view you should use and when you should use it.
SharePoint Designer 2010 has introduced a number of new editing features for working with views in conjunction with editing features that were included in SharePoint Designer 2007. The SharePoint Designer 2010 ribbon has made available a number of commands that previously only were found by launching different dialogs, such as the DFWP configuration dialog. Additionally, the ribbon now has to manage page editing requests for both XLVs and DFWPs, because the Web parts have unique features, although both Web parts share some common editing and functional features.
