Except by pressing keyboard shortcuts, you give commands in OneNote by using the ribbon and the Quick Access toolbar. To make using OneNote easier, you can customize the ribbon and Quick Access toolbar.
You can place the commands you use most often and the commands you find most useful on the ribbon and Quick Access toolbar. You can also remove commands; rearrange commands; and in the case of the ribbon, create your own tabs and command groups on tabs.
OneNote also allows you to place the Quick Access toolbar below the ribbon rather than above it.
