SMTP Connectors and Internet E-Mail
Both Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2007 support SMTP connectors, and either version can route messaging traffic to a connector housed on the other version. However, during this interversion communication, some version-specific settings are ignored and can possibly cause problems. Table 7-1 lists each SMTP connector feature for which there are version differences so that you can be prepared for these possible problems.
