Azure Firewall
Overview
Azure Firewall is a fully managed, highly available, highly scalable, stateful firewall provided as an Azure service. It enables you to centrally define network and application logging and to enforce policies to protect Azure virtual network (vNET) resources across multiple subscriptions. (See Figure 5-1.) The service complies with most international standards, including service organization controls (SOCs), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), the Health Information Trust Alliance Common Security Framework (HITRUST CSF), and others.
