Envision

3.1 An Overview

With the spark having ignited the stakeholders, including core team members, the next action to take is Envision (Figure 3.1), that is, revisiting the vision and developing a new or revised vision.

If your project is in trouble, it is very likely that the cause is a problem with the vision. Why? It may be that the vision is too complex for anyone to understand. It may be that the vision is too broad to have any meaning. It may be that the vision is unachievable in the context. It may mean that the vision was inappropriate from the start or has no key stakeholder support.
