Action Plans: Improve in Small Steps—Learning Is the Goal

After reading this book maybe you will think, “Alright but now I want to go to work and what exactly am I going to do first?” In order to answer this question, the following action plan has been drawn up, consisting of two phases.

Phase 1: Develop Yourself as a Leader1

1. Go to the workplace—your area of responsibility—and start observing and understanding the current work and how it is done.

2. Make problems visible.

3. Start by tackling those problems you are experiencing yourself.
