Vision

While the purpose is an overarching reason for being (why am I here), a vision is a very specific destination. The vision is what a leader is creating, both in specific aspects of his or her life and in all of life. For example, a purpose could be to improve the lives of youth, a vision would be to start a specific youth program. A purpose could be to be a healer; a vision might be to become a doctor, social worker, or coach.
