10.1. Introduction
The title of this chapter is probably not the first thing a developer thinks of. But it might very well be the first thing that a sponsor/investor thinks of: How can this product idea generate a return on investment?Chapter 2 discussed at length how the business models of today and tomorrow look (and might look respectively); in this part we will be considering the practical side of getting paid in a bit more detail.
Actually, before going into that subject, let us point out that sometimes the point is not to get paid for the software per se.
