It’s 1867 AD in New York City, New York, USA.

Immigrants pouring into New York City, mostly working in Manhattan, and living in Brooklyn. The two cities are growing fast; however, growth is restrained by the body of water separating them, the East River. New York State steps in and appoints John A. Roebling to bridge the river to the American Dream.
