Do quantitative and qualitative research have similar ethical considerations?

Chapter 4 discussed the right of the research participants to withdraw from a virtual reality study as this entitlement was enshrined in the Nuremberg Code. Although it is enshrined, withdrawing from a research study, as this chapter shows, is not always straightforward or possible.
