The goal of this book is to demonstrate that research ethics is not esoteric or formulaic. That is, it’s not something individuals are incapable of developing their own knowledge and skills in or just a matter of learning and applying a set of rules. We believe that research ethics is a mixture of knowledge, skills, and behaviours that can be developed by anyone to apply to different contexts appropriately.
