Explore and analyze data
Data is meant to help you find the path at the end of which you seek the truth. The truth is to shed light on what happened, why it happened, what can happen next, and how to prevent it or achieve a potential outcome. To find that, however, you must have the ability to go through the data, analyze it, and formulate hypotheses, which are then the subject of investigation.
