Introduction
Traditionally, financial services firms have to operate from offices and branches with very little remote working or working from home. This has been caused by several factors.
• The first one is the obvious need that firms often have customer-facing branches which need staff to support them. It would not be possible to run a bank branch with staff working remotely.
• Secondly, there was a traditional “alpha-male” attitude in financial services where the staff was expected to work long hours in their office to prove their dedication.
