Social Issues in the Management of Data and Information
Data and information give rise to heated passions and brutal politics. I am virtually certain that this has always been so, if for no other reason than the tendency of the powerful to hoard data and information. But I suspect that passions and politics are growing. If nothing else, the existence of more data, more needs, and more managers means there is more to fight about.
