10Taking It to the Streets—Networking Offline—Get off My Facebook and in My Face
So I just stated that social media represents the biggest weapon in your online crowdsourcing efforts. But what about crowdsourcing offline, RB? Should it be part of my overall strategy? Or should it be a variant strategy that is project dependent? Given the fact that I can reach the world through online efforts while sitting in my underwear and devouring an entire bag of Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies, is it really worth my time to shower, toss on some decent clothes and go put on appearances by eating a heart conscious salad with one or two individuals at a time? Doesn’t that seem counterproductive and a waste of energy?
