Using image textures

To use image textures in Blender, you will first need a texture! From this point forward we will use a wood floor texture that you can download as part of the resources for the book. The texture has a Creative Commons 0 license, meaning it is in the public domain.

Look for the file called WoodFloorColor.jpg in Chapter 5, Real-Time Textures for Eevee resources. It is an image representing a wood floor showing only color information, as follows:
