In Chapter 10, you can see that AutoCAD offers several methods of modifying objects in drawings. You can see how to select objects so that you can edit them. Now it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get dirty. In this chapter, I introduce you to the primary editing commands in AutoCAD.

The following sections cover the most important editing commands in AutoCAD, using command-first editing mode. AutoCAD calls commands that edit modify commands.
