I have, on my iMac, "Google Sketchup" in italian language. Reading your book and choosing: "Sketchup"→ "Preference"→" Template", I can't obtain any "OK" button. It shows "OPEN" button and I ...am exposed in this window! |

One must click the Enter key to get these to actually activate. This is true on all entries into the Measurement dialog box. At least on my version 7 Pro this is the way I had to do it to get the dimensions to actually apply. |

You must deselect the Materilas tool before the Esc key works as explained in this step. Pressing the Esc key as instructed does nothing in my version. First you must press the "space bar". |

The author makes several mistaken references to the blue axis when he's really talking about the green axis. He's not "introducing the blue axis" in this section, as it claims in the subtitle--he's introducing the green axis. The blue or y axis isn't irrelevant to 2-D art(p.1, sentence 3) -- the green or z axis is. The green axis doesn't run up and down (sentence 4)--the blue axis does. (The blue axis is correctly identified as the axis that runs up and down in the first two sentences of this paragraph.) The blue axis doesn't run perpendicular to the 2-D drawing plane (sentence 5)--the green axis does. |

This entire section doesn't do a good job of indicating when to _release_ the shift key to stop an inference lock and allow the new line along the next axis to be drawn. For example, step 7 should be "Release the shift key and position the cursor so the rubber band line is aligned with the red axis." If one continues to hold the shift key from step 5, one can't do step 7. |

On page 196 the text split into PC and Mac variations. On that page there was an instruction for Mac users to jump ahead to page 207. On page 207 after the PC instructions were completed, and before the Mac instructions started, I would have expected an instruction for PC users to jump ahead to page 219. |

On both pages it is mentioned that one can double-click text on a layer that is locked to edit the text. I was not able to do so on either my Windows or Mac computer and have tried numerous times. In my experience, the layer MUST BE UNLOCKED FIRST before you can edit the text. |
