After the START condition, the next SDA transition happens when SCL is high. This would constitute either another START condition, or a STOP condition. |

176 Figure 8-4 |
Before the STOP condition, the last SDA transition happens while SCL is high. This would constitute either another STOP condition, or a start condition. |

On page 198, the HDLC protocol is mentioned. Yet, Figure 10-2 does not show where this protocol fits into the protocol stack. |

All figures in this chapter use "CS8900A" as the Ethernet controller's designation. Yet, Figure 12-6 uses "CS8900". |

When R1 is placed parallel with R, resistance is decreased (not increased as stated), thus the oscillator frequency is increased (not slowed as stated) as RC time constant shortens. |

The PIC is named "PIC12C805" twice on this page. It should be named "PIC12C508" (notice mixed "5" and "8"). |

The interface is named "Herwin ...". It should be named "Harwin ..." |

In figure 15-1, the AVR processor register diagram indicates that the register pairs R26:R27, R28:R29, and R30:R31 make up the X, Y, and Z 16-bit registers. However, the text which indicates this reads "X-register low byte" (for example) for both registers. Obviously one or the other of the registers must be the high byte of the 16-bit register. |

The sentence states "the amount of current it can sink decreases with supply voltage". This implies an inverse proportionality. From the context of the book, this seems wrong. Imho, "decreases" should be either changed with "increases" or "changes". |

Reads "2.9 V", should be "2.8 V". |

Text says "connect to a MAX3233 in the same way as we saw in the PIC design." However, the PIC design makes no reference to a MAX3233 device -- the device mentioned there is a MAX3232. |

Reads "tCLCL" twice. "CLCL" parts should be formatted in subscript. |

Printed | Page 332 Figure 17-5 |
In this figure, the MAX3232 has the following pins connected: T2OUT/R1IN and T2IN/R1OUT. This "cross-configuration" is counterintuitive, as one would expect T1OUT/R1IN and T1IN/R1OUT, especially when comparing with Figure 9-7 on page 188. The same applies to Figure 18-10 on page 344, where the MAX3232 is again used in the cross-configuration. |

This sentence states that port 5 provides access to JTAG signals. Comparing this to Figure 17-2, it seems that port 4 provides this access. |

This sentence states that the demultiplexer drives three LEDs. Comparing this to figure 18-9, it should drive four LEDs. |
