The following errata were submitted by our customers and have not yet been approved or disproved by the author or editor. They solely represent the opinion of the customer.

"It’s worth noting that the summarize function will silently remove the last of the grouping variables from the group_by. This is done automatically because leaving the grouping in place will, by definition, mean that no group has more than one row in it. The last grouping variable is dropped only from the vector of groupings, not from the data frame. That field is still in there, but it’s not used for groupings. This can be surprising the first time you observe it in action." |
