the symbol used to depict a battery/cell could be improved.
IEC 60417 symbol 5001A does not specify polarity, but it's normal
the 'long' bar indicates the plus (+).

the symbol with reversed polarity indication is consistently used in the book, but is first introduced in page 160.
figure 5-2, 5-4, 5-9, 5-10, 5-13, 5-15 and maybe more...

Note from the Author or Editor:
The polarity of the battery symbol is explicitly placed with the symbol, rather than assuming that one plate is positive or negative. That labelling convention is adhered to throughout the book. In a 2nd ed. this should be updated, but for the 1st ed. the explicit labelling should suffice.
