Step 14

Step 14: The photograph of the touch sensor is taken from a bad angle; as compared to i.e. the blocks in the blocks in step 13 and step
12, it appears to be a third of its actual height (which would actually
be a common Lego block). It took my little brother and I a little while
to realize what part was actually represented by that photograph.

Minor implementation flaw with non-minor symptoms: The motors come loose
fairly easily, disengaging the gears and immobilizing the robot. They
can be pressed back down, which re-engages the gears... for a couple of
seconds.

Solution: After motors are in place, take 2x 12u pieces added in step 5,
and shift both of them back 1u (front = where the touch sensors are).
After step 6, motors are clamped in place. Robot has not had motors
come loose since them, and they appear to be quite secure in place
(against normal wear and tear). This requires minor adjustment of order
of assembly (putting the motors in place in an expanded step 5 or a step
4.5 appears to do the trick).

(If these modifications are not clear, please contact me for further
elucidation.)

You show the toggle under the 'true' condition. I had to move it to the 'false' condition to make it work.

Basically when its seeing white paper thats when you want to do the
toggle. If it is seeing dark, then there's no need to toggle.

Step 12

I just finished building the Minerva Robot with arm. Excellent job BTW! In the photo for step 12 for the Minerva, I got confused until I
noticed that the photo shows installation of the parts from step 14.
One simple solution is during your next reprint: place step 12 after
step 14.
