1st paragraph (and subsequent pages)

The file "Pirate Cove map.indd" refers to the font "ITC Zapf Dingbats Medium", which is not part of the CS3 distribution nor the font goodies and does also not come with Windows XP. I have tried to substitute it with Zapf Dingbats BT and the URW++-Version that comes with GhostScript, but both seem to be encoded another way. Can you please provide a fixed version, e.g. with the numbers converted to curves?

1st paragraph (list items)

Just a quick note... I had to turn on the Suppress Text Wrap When Layer Is Hidden check
box for the Shenbop layer as well as the Boundary Path layer to get the text to display
as in Figure 6-43, p 254. But perhaps I missed something.

(This is a very excellent book, by the way, easily the best of its genre that I have
come across. I immediately went out and purchased the Photoshop equivalent.)

Extra Credit

I think your videos and chapter lessons are excellent. After working through to page
9 I have just found the first clitch.

I just worked with the Extra Credit problem on pp. 387-8 and encountered two errors
in the setup of this exercise. The file that comes up does not have the A-Master in
the pages palette and the problem of ?no footer or folio? appears to have already
been solved in the DVD file associated with this exercise.

On the accompanying CD-Rom, the supplemental file 'pirate cove map.indd' references the
font ITC zapf dingbats regular, which does not ship with educational copies of InDesign.
The file heavily relies on a glyph found in the ITC Zapf Dingbats typeface, but not found
in the normal Zapf Dingbats font that ships with most computers.
