Bottom paragraph on page

The directions given in the first sentence of the last paragraph on the page don't work. The sentence is: "For example, if you choose Home>Clipboard>Paste>Past Special, you always get a dialog box." I couldn't get this sequence to work.

1st bullet-point paragraph

I'm using this book to teach a 1 credit hour "Introduction to Spreadsheets" class. I'm a bit confused by the
paragraph on page 139 that says that "If the number's got more decimal places than Excel can display, then
it leaves out the ones that don't fit." This would seem to contradict what was was said regarding ##### on
the top of page 79 ("Excel never truncates a number or a date")

"One of the beauties of the Missing Manuals is that there is always something new to discover and the research is quite thorough...I kept finding snippets of information, in the way of Tips or Notes, that would give just that bit extra."
