When talking about the function of the "triangle-shaped icons" for shrinking of expanding the windows in LR2, you didn't mention that clicking on any place on the small strip that is left from the hidden panel will do :)

This is not possible. DNG is an archival format for RAW images. It is not possible to convert non-camera RAW formats to DNG, per www.adobe.com/products/dng, as of DNG version 1.2.0.0 (April 2008: http://www.adobe.com/products/dng/pdfs/dng_spec_1_2_0_0.pdf)

The right panel as well as the film strip are not collapsed.

There is a reference to an "inverted" tone curve.
In my Lightroom2 version 2.2 there is no such inverted tone curve available from the menu.
