2nd paragraph

The author states that when configuring the ESX host firewall that various ports need to be opened for client communication etc, and then goes on to state that you also need to open the ports "needed for the actual services you run on your guests, such as Web Services, DNS, etc"

This is both incorrect and a serious security risk. VM guest communication will occur on an entirely different network interface to that of the service console, and at no time should the service console firewall be configured to allow these kinds of services.

Kind regards,

Dan

It seems that vSwitch0 needed to be checked instead, someone knowledgable about VMWare ESX 4 should look at this because it isn't correct.
