Recommending the use of a tripod for standard size binoculars is simply wrong. IS is a much better solution,
in that it doesn't interfere with the inherent mobility of binoculars. Also, trying to look anything close
to straight up, which always provides the best image, is nearly impossible with tripod mounted binoculars.

The list of the 25 brightest stars omits Spica (Alpha Virginis). Its apparent magnitude is 1.04, and thus
would need to be placed between Antares and Pollux.
