1st Paragraph

In the section on the Web browser Safari it states that, "Safari is the only browser in this list that's limited to Macs." I am not sure if Mac has just changed that since the latest edition of the book, or the book just didn't update that with it's latest publishing but if you follow the link http://www.apple.com/downloads/ you will see that Safari is now compatible with both Mac and PCs.

"Browser plug-ins" paragraph

In the last sentence, you refer readers to www.orsinal.com. The site looks like another one of those fake search-result sites (for want of a better description). Has the site gone AWOL since you last recommended it?

On safari, I still see the code when I open the code with the browser, not a formatted HTML. The same happened when I opened the code in FireFox (Mac).

I am reading this book as a beginner and I could not do the very first practical challenge. I had to search to find out that in Notepad, I had to save the file with the .html extension IN THE NAME and then choose "all files" in order to be able to then go to my browser and look at what I'd done. You do not mention this specifically in this section so, without that bit of advice, nothing worked. You mention "Fle - Save usually does it and that is not the case. Quite discouraging at the outset to not be able to have the simplest phrase work as you said. Otherwise, I am enjoying reading the manual very much and do appreciate the work that must have gone into it to make the process understandable and within the grasp of us ordinary mortals that do not have a lot of technical savvy.

"One of the beauties of the Missing Manuals is that there is always something new to discover and the research is quite thorough...I kept finding snippets of information, in the way of Tips or Notes, that would give just that bit extra."
