Error in the prompt:

The stereographic projection in GMT is -JS.
-JG is the orthographic projection, which is topic in the next paragraph.

Besides, it does not make much sense to plot only an area specified with
-R-180/180/45/90 to demonstrate the difference between stereographic and orthographic projections, because both look almost the same like this.
An area of -R-180/180/0/90 would make more sense.

The example given in Hack 41 only works with Mozilla/Firefox (Win /MacOs), and not
with Internet Explorer (Win). Safari (MacOS) even crashes.
