Under,
- How Run As works,
command should be corrected to,
runas /user:MTITAdministrator "mmc %windir%system32compmgmt.msc"
(ie one % was missing, compmgmt was compmgnt)
- Running Programs W/O an excutable,
"Your administrator desktop has now disappeared, but Task Manager is still running
(in the security context of your regular account), so switch to the Applications tab,
click New Task, type runas /user:MTITAdministrator explorer.exe, and click OK. Your
desktop has returned."
I believe here, the command should not be "administrator" but rather the ordinary
logon username as we want to go back to our ordinary logon session not the Admin
session.
