For the sentence in the 4th paragraph of page 39:
"Does this mean that for every write Pulsar Broker has to retrieve data from the bookies"
As the context around paragraph and my prior understanding about Pulsar, the sentence should be recorrected as "Does this mean that for every read Pulsar Broker has to retrieve data from the bookies"

As I has experienced with Mesos, the core implementation of the component is implemented in C++ 11, however there are other components implemented in JVM languages.
