On the slide under the "VOIP Terms And Technologies - Part 1", he explains that the G.711 codec U-Law is used in the U.S and Japan, and the A-Law is used in Europe and the rest of the world. He then changes his statement around in the "Voice Codecs - Part 2" video and even has it typed that the A-Law is used in the U.S. and Japan. |
