The browser is free of charge with no ad banners.
They removed the ad-banner and licensing fee in September '05.
So you dont have to spend $39 to get it ad free

Opera has a very good native integration of google search in the browser.

eg:
g <search phrase> performs google standard search
r <search phrase> same for google groups
n <search phrase> same for google news
