Second Paragraph |
The headline of the paragraph reads 'Getting Help with Visio 2011' and it obviously should read ''... Visio 2010'.
Thanks!

TIP |
Add an additional paragraph to the tip:
You can also move the drawing page using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Be sure that no shapes are selected before pressing the arrow keys, however, or you will move the selected shape(s) instead of moving the page.

Page 43
Bottom of page: Step 1 under "Setup" |
The step calls for the "Line" tool to be selected from the "Tools" group on the "Home" page. This is confusing because the line selection box is actually showing and is in the "Shape Group". What should be selected is immediately to the right of the "pointer" in the "Tools Group." Turning the page reveals the problem and solution.
Note from the Author or Editor: The submitter is correct that this can be confusing, primarily because of an unfortunate page break between Step 1 on p.43 and the "Important" note on p.44.
FIX: ensure that Step 1 is on the same page as the "important" note that is currently on the top of p.44.

If there is room, it would be great to add this reader aid at the end of the "Copying and Pasting Shapes" section:
*Keyboard Shortcut* Duplicating shapes is often faster and easier than copying and pasting, especially if you want to reproduce the same shape multiple times. To create duplicates: after selecting one or more shapes, type Ctrl+D or hold down the Control key while dragging the shape(s) with the mouse.

TIP |
In this tip it says for Excel,
"it is not even necessary to save the chages you've made; Visio will read the current data in the linked sheet."
However, whenever I try this, like using Scheduling Data Refresh (196 to 197)
The Visio diagram does not update unless the Excel spreadsheet has been saved first. I cannot get it to update otherwise.
Thank you.
Note from the Author or Editor: Strike the second sentence in the first paragraph of the tip, leaving just one sentence in the first paragraph.
