Michael Boelen specializes in the field of Linux and UNIX security. He worked as a consultant for several Fortune 500 companies like Philips and ASML. In 2013, he started security firm "CISOfy":https://cisofy.com with the goal to simplify security. Focus areas include allowing companies to perform auditing, hardening, and compliance checking. Michael is the author of several open source security tools, like Rootkit Hunter (rkhunter) and Lynis. Both utilities are often found in the toolkit of system administrators and security professionals.
