Mr. Matthew Carroll is the General Manager of 42six, CSC’s public sector Big Data and Distributed Computing division. He holds the responsibility for delivering high-end software solutions to customers across the Federal Sector and currently provides engineering support to cloud computing initiatives at NSA, Army and DIA. Furthermore, 42six maintains 7x open-source programs and is a contributor to key programs for the Intelligence Community such as Accumulo, Titan and Ozone. More
In addition to his duties as the leader of 42six Mr. Carroll also serves as the lead architect for DIA’s ICITE initiative called the DoDIIS App Engine. As part of this program he provides engineering vision and guidance to DIA functionals and DoD components in support of DIA’s ICITE migration strategy.
Previously, Mr. Carroll served in several roles within the US Army as a Military Intelligence Officer. During this time he supported operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Mr. Carroll holds degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Biology from Brandeis University and is married with one child.
